Back from coffee at Thins

12.55
Back from coffee at Thin's (the bookshop opposite the Assembly) with my pal John Stevens, a treat.

John was the Guitar Craft Registrar for England at a time when he believed that there would be a sufficient level of interest for a course here. John has the charming capacity to continue to appear surprised that there is / was no interest for GC south of the Borders. Or in the Borders. Or north of the Borders. Over cappucini & sparkling water John reminded me that 10 years ago we were both at Vassieux, in France, on a GC course.

He brought a leaflet of the mysterious Rosslyn Chapel, which he suggests would be good for Soundscapes. But even more exciting than mysteries of the Templars: chocolates for The Horse & I from John & Joan. Perhaps J & J know that these little beasts of delight, these parcels of heaven, which they acquired at Jenners are made at Poundbury, Dorchester (Prince Charles' model town)? This is near our home in Deepest Dorset.
